GE Lighting to Establish North America Professional Solutions Company

GE Lighting has announced that it will integrate its lighting solutions sales and applications solutions team with professional sales teams from North America and bring both operations under a single structure and leader.

The new organisation which will be named North America Professional Solutions will now be led by Jaime Irick who is presently leading GE Lighting Solutions. He will be responsible for all sales activities for the commercial and industrial product portfolio of GE Lighting.

However, Dan Jenkins will continue with the leadership of the professional sales team of GE lighting which will now be part of the new single organisation. Before this arrangement the LED and non-LED sales organisations of GE were two separate entities. According to President and CEO of GE Lighting Maryrose Sylvester the activation of LED lighting is growing rapidly in North America and this rearrangement will enable the company to achieve a leadership position in the market and gain the trust of its customers in making important short term and long term decisions. The change will also enable the company to take strategic decisions quickly with the use of the best commercial and financial resources. The company provides its energy efficient lighting services to commercial, industrial, municipal and residential applications and has various brands such as Infusion, Lumination, Evolve, Tetra and Immersion.
