A distributor and vendor of electrical products in Los Angeles, California, Associated of Los Angeles (ALA) is the new dealer of Seesmart’s LED products. Seesmart is a company that provides total LED lighting solutions with rich experience in manufacturing, distribution and research and development.
The collaboration allows ALA to offer Seesmart’s advanced LED lighting products to the Los Angeles county, Los Angeles unified school district, as well as to other ALA customers. Apart from this, their collaboration offers Seesmart a channel to connect the City of Los Angeles and its several facilities. One among the members of Seesmart’s network, including more than 30 distributors and dealers, ALA provides the total product line of more than 325 Seesmart products and benefits by receiving large amount of sales and business support from Seesmart. Seesmart is also partnering with ALA to initiate a 911 call center in Los Angeles. The call center’s overhead tube and soffit lighting would be promoting Seesmart’s LED lighting.
Ken Ames, CEO of Seesmart, stated that ALA has been helpful in launching display projects for Seesmart all over Los Angeles. The incandescent flood lights and fluorescent U-tubes in Los Angeles Mall have been replaced with 1,300 LED products of Seesmart and this has dropped the amount of energy consumed by each tube light fixture by more than 72%, from 88 W to 24 W, he added.
According to Ken Ames, the LA Mall’s LEDs not only reduces energy-consumption but also substantially increases light-intensity levels. By using fluorescent lighting, the Mall was able to achieve 12 fc at 30 in. above floor-level; while with Seesmart LEDs, the Mall achieved 19.5 fc at the same level, he added.
