B+M Lighting Develops LED Lighting Product Using Recyclable Aluminum
B&M Lighting has manufactured an LED lighting range of products called Mactech LED using LED lighting tube technology.
LED Light
The lighting range comprises four products, namely LED Sled, Slimline, Soft Boxes and China Lights. They are manufactured using 100% recyclable aluminum and are assembled in Sun Valley. Universal Studios Set Lighting is the rental agent for the lighting products.
The LED lighting products use high output LED chips and deliver high-quality light. They are field tested on location and on stage and operate on one-third the amperage of the fluorescent lighting solutions. The lights are lightweight and provide constant color temperatures at both tungsten and daylight.
B&M Lighting’s President, Ray Wolffe stated that the company has worked with television and film professionals to develop the LED chips. He added that by using the LED lighting products, a production can utilize only Edison stingers and plugs, and save air conditioning expenses. Universal Studios Set Lighting’s VP, Rick Maas mentioned that the lighting products offer clients the choice of production tested lighting, which reduces the power distribution requirements substantially.
