TCP Unveils New Range of CFL Products at 2011 Hardware Show
Specialist in energy-saving lighting systems, TCP has introduced a broad range of compact fluorescent lamp (CFL) products under its TCP Lightstyles brand at the Hardware Show conducted in Las Vegas, Nevada.
TCP Lightstyles’ dimmable CFL products exhibit smooth dimming down to 2% and attain complete brightness within seconds. The products’ patent-awaiting microchip ballast part uses NXP’s GreenChip Technology to effectively control lamp voltage to offer superior dimming capability.
TCP Lightstyles portfolio has a wide range of high-performance instant start and InstaBright products. They are non-dimming CFL products and use the company's microchip technology to increase run-up and start-up time by over 100% when compared to their predecessors. These products have an operating life of 18 years, which is twice that of competitive CFL products.
TCP has also unveiled a Remote Controlled CFL system with in-built wireless communication functionality. This innovative technology enables the programming of numerous CFLs to one of four various channels on the handheld remote. Using the remote, the programmed lamps can be operated from any part of the house easily and effectively.
TCP has also enhanced most of its InstaBright fast-starting covered CFL products with Armor Coat technology. Armor Coat is a long-lasting polymer coating technology that provides protection to the bulb and glass components in the case against breakage.
