Magnalight Unveils Explosion Proof LED Tank Light for Dangerous Locations

Magnalight has introduced a new LED tank lighting solution that can be used in limited spaces. The Magnalight EPL-16C-1MLED is a multipurpose light with amazing explosion proof capabilities.

With a 16” diameter, the LED light head operates from a power supply of 150 W to deliver 10,000 lm of light. The LED light, with a capability to withstand multiple voltages, operates from AC supply ranging from 120 to 277 V.

The LED lighting solution features 100 ft of explosion proof SOOW cord to enable easy connection to power sources and delivers high mobility. The wheeled cart of the unit is made from non sparking aluminum. The LED light source can be rotated in a full circle and features a tilt angle of 90o. This flexible light source can used to replace bulky, explosion proof string lights. The LEDs, with an operating life of 60,000 h, consume less power than halogen or metal halide lamps.

Designed for use in marine and petrochemical industries, the tank light is ideal for dangerous environments where flammable gases, vapors and dusts are present.
