Rubicon CEO Makes Presentation at Lighting Symposium in California

Provider of sapphire products for optical, semiconductor and LED markets, Rubicon Technology declared that its Chief Executive officer and President, Raja Parvez, has made a presentation on latest LED technology achievements at the J.P. Morgan LED General Lighting Symposium. The event was held in Santa Clara, California, on 24 February 2011.

Rubicon offers quality and large-diameter wafers to LED manufacturers across the globe. The company has the required sapphire wafer capacity to meet the increasing demand for LEDs in the general lighting and consumer electronics industries dealing in mobile phones, netbooks, tablets, HD televisions, traffic lights, displays and bulbs.

Rubicon has recently developed 12” polished sapphire wafers for LED production. The company, in addition to producing sapphire substrates, offers radio frequency integrated circuits, crystalline and mono-crystalline products, optoelectronics and laser diodes. Rubicon uses a patented crystal growth technology to develop high-quality sapphire products and manufactures large-diameter products for optical window, radio frequency integrated circuits and LED applications.
