FLIR Introduces Microscopy Stand for SC5000 IR Camera

FLIR Advanced Thermal Solutions (ATS) has unveiled a new microscopy stand that allows the SC5000 IR camera to offer a comprehensive solution for infrared microscopy applications in nanotechnology, biotechnology and electronic industries.

SC5000 Camera

The microscopy stand and an X5 macro lens, when utilized with a SC5000 camera, offer a spatial resolution of 3 microns/pixel without any loss in measurement accuracy or dynamics.

The SC5000 series is ideal for infrared technology users who seek to carry out thermal imagery with high accuracy or sensitivity at high spatial resolutions. The cameras come in 640x512 pixels or 320x240 pixels and deliver a frame rate of 380 or 100 Hz, respectively. They feature a InSb focal plane array and deliver high-quality sensitivity and linearity.

The cameras utilize FLIR’s read-out integrated circuit technology to offer high pixel rate and low loss without compromising on the sensitivity. They feature a plug and play option and utilize Camlink or GigE interfaces to transmit complete dynamic range digital video. The cameras also have an embedded lens for convenient set up purposes.
