Discus Dental has introduced a new desktop diode laser that provides a feature set, convenience and portability, laser certification course, and an eight-CE credit at no extra cost.
SL3 Diode Laser
The SL3 diode laser provides numerous high-end features and has been developed by the manufacturers of the NV Microlaser device.
The SL3 laser device features a LCD touch screen interface with 18 orthodontic and dentistry pre-settings and a wireless foot pedal that offers easy laser activation without causing any finger fatigue. It has disposable fiber-tips, which remove the requirement to strip and score the fiber before use.
Discus Dental’s General Manager, Frank McGillin stated that the company gathered inputs from various customers before developing the SL3 diode laser device and both the user interface and features were developed from customers’ feedback. The company’s VP of Professional Relations, Dr. Michael Miyasaki commented that the product support makes the laser an ideal choice for users.
