AIS Unveils HMI Touch Panel PCs for Food Processing Industries

American Industrial Systems (AIS) has released a new range of Stainless Steel HMI touch panels that deliver enhanced performance in humid, rugged, dusty and wet environments.

The touch panels have long product life cycle, high reliability, consume minimum power and deliver better performance.

The systems also feature additional options such as LED backlit Panels, Sunlight Readability capability via Transflective enhancements and HMI Touch screen capability. All these features enable in improving the utility and flexibility of the display. The units have a stainless steel enclosure that meets the DIN EN 1672-2 standards for hygiene and safety needs. The enclosures have a polished surface for convenient cleaning purposes.

The touch panels PCs are developed with UNS S30400, SAE 304, DIN X5CrNi, and EN 1.4301 grade stainless steel with chemical resistant and anti-corrosive touch screens. They are powered using the Intel Atom 1.6 GHz processor that feature a thermal design power (TDP) of 2.5 W. The touch panels have a fanless design that can withstand vibration, shock, humidity, moisture, grease, dirt and dust. The panels are currently available in 19”, 17” and 15” with standard mounting holes.
