GAO Fiber Optics Launches AA1419013 Transceiver for Fiber-Optic Networks

GAO Fiber Optics has introduced a new Nortel compatible transceiver that facilitates the connection of Gigabit Ethernet ports with fiber-optic networks.

Nortel Compatible 1000Base-SX Transceiver

The AA1419013 hot-swappable device is suitable for data communication and telecommunication applications including 10 Gb Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, Fiber Channel, and 10 Gb/s SONET/SDH.

The 1000Base-SX transceiver offers physical network connectivity to routing equipment, Ethernet switches, cross-connections, distance extenders and media converters. It functions at 850 nm wavelength with a maximum transmission distance of 500 m on 50/62.5ìm MMF. In addition, the hot-swappable transceiver has minimal power dissipation and is equipped with digital diagnostic functions. It provides a dual LC/PC connector and a standard SFP interface for network connection.
