TILL Photonics Launches iMIC Digital Microscope for Live-Cell Imaging Applications

TILL Photonics, developer of imaging systems has launched an advanced Two-Photon iMIC digital microscope. The two-photon excitation microscopy system is ideal for fluorescence imaging of thick tissues.

The device integrates two vital benefits for researchers in an accurate and swift manner. Its enhanced penetration depth allows researchers to view samples more deeply. The unit decreases tissue damage and deeper probing enables in-depth research. The iMIC microscope allows the researcher to carry out improved live-cell imaging.

The microscope, in combination with the voice coil-based focus drive, allows 3-D scans of high-quality accuracy and precision. The unit features digital galvo control and has a pixel time of less than 1 ìs. The microscope allows a maximum of 4 channels for observation purposes, two for transmission fluorescence and two for epi-fluorescence.  It has a sampling speed of 4 MHz with variable oversampling. The device also features Colibri LaserScan software that provides complete control over the setup. The software also offers the versatility of incorporating numerous components.
