Opto-Link Launches Light Sources for Optical Testing Applications

Hong Kong-based company, Opto-Link has introduced new power broadband sources for optical testing and measuring applications.

The Amplified Spontaneous Emission (ASE) light sources cover various wavelengths such as 1050-1070 nm; C+L-Band for 1610 nm; and C-band for 1525 to 1565 nm.

The ASE light sources are based on the technology to use erbium-doped fiber for generating amplified spontaneous emission. The wide spectrum width offered by the ASE light source is suitable for applications in components characterization, sensor systems, and Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) systems.
