Laservision Launches Laser Safety Roll-Up Barrier System

Laservision USA has introduced a new laser safety roll-up barrier system that delivers high stability and flexibility. The system provides temporary laser safety during demonstration, maintenance, or service of laser systems.

The multi-layer system features a surface designed based on polyurethane; an aluminum foil; and a glass fiber-woven tissue. The laser safety roll-up barrier includes a module of the laser safety curtain shelter. The system weighs 15 pounds and measures 2 x 0.94 m.

The laser safety curtain is aligned with two metal profiles and positioned using a metal expanding device. The support structure and the lower holder’s design position the laser safety roll-up barrier in its place without any extra fixation. The laser side is mountable to the outer or inner side of the structure.

The safety roll-up barrier offers an irradiance level of up to 500 w/cm2 at an exposure time of up to 100 sec. In addition, the barrier comes with a foldable telescope frame and a transportation bag.
