Supplier of switching power converters, Aimtec has introduced a new DC/DC LED Driver for LED lighting solutions. The AMLD-Z series produces power ranging from 6 to 48 W and offers constant output currents from 150 to 1000 mA with an input range of 7 to 60 VDC.
The AMLD-Z series offers analog voltage and PWM voltage dimming control as well as remote ON/OFF control function. The open and short circuit protection feature protects the LED lights, the converter and its input circuit from high currents.
The LED driver delivers an efficiency of 97% and has an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The RoHS-compliant AMLD-Z series is included in DIP24 packages. In addition, the LED driver offers reliable performance as the LEDs and is compatible with various LED applications.
