Lumics, manufacturer of fiber-optic components, announced that it has unveiled new pump laser diodes that range from 4 W to a maximum of 40 W.
Pump Laser Diode
They incorporate swift axis collimation from the diode on carrier and can function with any kind of pumping applications such as Yb, Nd, Er and Tm.
The laser diodes are available from 793 nm to a maximum of 1064 nm, in which there are various standards such as 980, 976, 938, 915, 808 and 793 nm. They are chosen with ±3 nm wavelength tolerance for every absorbing material.
The F-mount is compact, durable and can be easily connected electrically. It is convenient to handle and features various emitter sizes ranging from 45 µm single emitter to 190 µm double emitter. The F-mount is suitable for material and medicine processing applications.
