Supplier of optical components, Edmund Optics has unveiled new PCX cylinder lenses that are suitable for UV beam shaping applications.
TECHSPEC PCX Cylinder Lens
The TECHSPEC UV fused silica PCX cylinder lenses offer high-quality UV transmission with a low thermal expansion coefficient. They are ideal for applications that function in rugged or adverse environments with temperature variations.
The cylinder lenses project light only in one dimension. The lenses are mostly utilized to generate a line from the laser source. The TECHSPEC UV cylinder lenses are developed in diameter sizes of 12.5 mm with focal lengths of 100 mm, 75 mm, 50 mm, and 25 mm. The TECHSPEC UV lenses having a diameter of 25 mm come in focal lengths of 150 mm, 100 mm, 75 mm, and 50 mm.
All the PCX cylinder lenses are uncoated. Edmund Optics offers a wide range of coatings for the customers upon request.
