Since 1957, FISBA has been privately owned by the Fischbacher family, whose origins date back to the flourishing textile industry of St. Gallen, Switzerland. In 2001, Hans Huber became an equal shareholder of FISBA via his HUWA holding. Company shares are also held by the board of directors, as well as the senior management.
Since 2012, Martin Wipfli is active president of the board of directors. Members are Christian Fischbacher, Ruedi Huber, Werner Krüsi, Alfred Lichtensteiger and Gerhard Breu.
