Matrox to Offer Technical Seminars on its Smart Cameras in Korea, Japan, China

Matrox Imaging, along with its local distributors, will be offering free technical seminars to showcase the Matrox Iris GT and Matrox Design Assistant smart camera / software package. The seminars will be held March 2-12, 2010 in cities throughout Korea, Japan and China.

Konica Minolta and Oce Terminate Business Alliance Deal on Office Printing Systems

Konica Minolta Holdings, Inc. (Konica Minolta) today announced that the company and Oce N.V. (Oce), headquartered in Venlo, the Netherlands (President and CEO: Rokus van Iperen), reached, through mutual consultation, an agreement to terminate the strategic business alliance agreement, entered into by and between both companies to cooperate in development and marketing for office and production printing systems.

Morphologi G3 Particle Characterization System Increases Performance of Solvay Pharma's Research

Solvay Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Marietta, GA, USA) was the first company in the United States to install the innovative Morphologi G3 image analysis-based particle characterization system from Malvern Instruments. Having invested immediately after the launch of the Morphologi G3, with installation taking place in January 2008, the company’s research and development team has since taken full advantage of the system’s ability to generate comprehensive particle shape as well as size information. Solvay scientist Mychael Scoggins believes that the completeness of the data delivered by the G3 allows more discerning materials characterization. “Everyone in the company loves it,” he said.
