Luminus Devices, PhlatLight LEDs’ manufacturer and developer, and a part of Avnet, Inc., Avnet Electronics Marketing Asia, have entered into a partnership, which allows the distribution of Luminus PhlatLight LEDs to users, by Avnet Electronics Marketing.
EBV Elektronik is a part of Avnet, which distributes products of Luminus in all parts of Africa, the Middle East and Europe. Avnet’s Luminus is also present in USA.
Avnet Electronics Marketing Asia offers extensive design-chain services, supply-chain optimization solutions and distribution services, to speed up the product development cycle for diverse specialty lighting and illumination applications.
According to Luminus Devices, Inc.’s CEO, Keith T.S. Ward, there is an increasing demand for PhlatLight LEDs in the parts of Asia. Ward also added that Luminous Devices is excited to work with Avnet Electronics Marketing Asia.
LED lighting differs from the traditional products of electronics. The products of LED lighting are highly bright LEDs, which are applied in optical, thermal and electronics technologies. Avnet Electronics Marketing Asia’s senior director of Avnet Design Service/Segment Marketing, Andy Wong stated that Avnet Design Services will provide solutions and technical support for the manufacturers.
