Gigahertz-Optik Introduce Optically Diffuse Reflecting Material in Different Grades of Gray

Gigahertz-Optik expand their range of optically diffuse reflective coatings to include a range of gray shades.

White optically diffuse reflecting material is useful in many lighting design, laser and reflection/transmission applications including integrating sphere coating, laser cavities and reflectance standards.

ODMP Optical Diffuse Reflecting Material from Gigahertz-Optik

Besides exhibiting a nearly perfect diffuse reflectance of >98 % from 400-1600 nm and >95% from 250 - 2000 nm, Gigahertz-Optik’s white ODM98 features uniform reflectance across the UV to NIR spectral range and over a large area, operating temperatures up to 200°C (300°C short exposures), long term UV stability, high maximum permissible radiation flux densities, machinability plus it can be cleaned and resurfaced.

Gigahertz-Optik now offers its new ODMP material in different grades of gray.

It is made from ODM98 only the material is doped with different density black pigments. Gray scale material at different reflectance levels is required in many calibration tasks like qualifying the linearity of optical sensors.

Raw material in plate and block form as well as machined reflectance plates and reflectance standards with protective housings are available. Gray scale ODM with reflectance values of 2%, 20%, 50% and 70% are stocked - other reflectance values are available on request.
