Q-Tran has launched remote LED power supplies that can be directly buried within the ground. They serve as an excellent distribution point to power LED lighting.
Q-SETeLED and the Q-VAULT-5
LED lighting is powered by the Q-SETeLED and Q-SETMLED Power Supplies. Installed on the Q-VAULT-5, which is an IP68 listed enclosure; these products can be enclosed in concrete or within the ground.
The Q-SETeLED is being offered as 60 or 120 W (12 V DC) or 100 or 200 W (24 V DC) models. The Q-VAULT-5 can accommodate two Q-SETeLEDs, where each one will have four LED power supplies.
Available as 60-300 W in 12 V DC or 24 V DC, two Q-SETMLEDs can fit inside the Q-VAULT. Voltage drop recovery is facilitated by boost taps, where secondary circuit protection ensures safety to the LED lighting.
The IP68 listed Q-VAULT-5 measures 5-in. It consists of two stabilizing bars, door, gasket, and a water-tight installation kit. This durable, easy-installation kit is 9.5 in long, 16.5-in wide and 12.5- in deep. It encompasses water-tight putty, one epoxy packs and an application syringe, silver marker, desiccant pouch, installation instructions, wire ties, drilling guide labels, and spare parts. It is safely enclosed within a bronze plate, or stainless steel diamond, with a flush mount or concrete pour ring.
The AC fed LED fixtures and Q-SET standard halogen is available in three circuit breaker configurations. The Q-Scape System includes Q-SET1; Q-SET2 and Q-SET3 with five secondary taps from 11 - 15 V. Loads may be linked at various distances. The primary and secondary circuit protection complies or surpasses some of the Pool and Spa Wet Label Direct Burial Standard and the NEC Landscape Lighting Codes.
Most of the landscape lighting LED fixtures are designed for 12 V AC, the standard Q-SET transformer. The patented Q-Scape features Q-Clik fittings, Q-Wires, and various components.
