Bright Solutions Expands DPSS Q-Switched Laser Portfolio

Provider of novel industrial laser solutions, Bright Solutions has expanded its DPSS (Diode-Pumped Solid-State Laser) Q-switched laser portfolio with the introduction of a new series called the BLM.

BLM Series Q-switched DPSS lasers

The DPSS q-switched laser emits at a wavelength of 532 nm with output pulse energy between 50 µJ and 10 µJ. The factory modifiable repetition rates of the laser is from one shot to 4 kHz and its pulse width is 15 ns.

The BLM series laser offers an exceptional beam quality with a value of M² of 1.1 and a linear polarization ratio of 100:1. The small dual-box shape of the BLM makes the laser suitable for incorporating in user systems that demand compact dimensions.

The BLM’s resonator measures 4.5"x 2.75"x 1.18", while the pump unit measures 7.8"x 3.5"x 2". The BLM laser is ideal for Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) applications. However, it can also be used for other applications such as seed sources for amplified laser systems, scribing, marking, fluorescence measurement, biomedical and spectroscopy.
