CT-2: Ultra-Thin Tabletop Vibration Isolation Platform

Minus K’s Compact Tabletop (CT-2) offers superior performance in a 2.7-inch isolation platform. This upgrade from Minus K’s CT-1 provides improved horizontal performance and increased payload ranges for larger sensors.

This passive mechanical isolator performs 10 to 100 times better than a full-size air table. It operates without air or electricity.

This incredibly user-friendly vibration isolation platform offers the unique 0.5 Hz vertical natural frequency and ~1.5 Hz horizontal natural frequency. Two modifications are required. The CT-2 is perfect for all types of benchtop microscopes.

This is the thinnest, most portable, and user-friendly isolator with high performance capabilities.

The isolator represents the thinnest, most portable, and most user-friendly solution ever offered that can achieve this level of vibration isolation performance.

Performance
  • Horizontal frequencies are weight-dependent.
  • Horizontal frequency of ~1.5 Hz is achieved at or near the upper limits of the payload range.
  • At the lower payload weights, the horizontal frequency will increase.
  • Vertical frequency is tunable to 0.5 Hz throughout the payload range.
