MultiPix Imaging announced that it has signed a contract with FLIR Systems, a company specializing in the design and development of thermal imaging cameras. MultiPix Imaging, founded in 1997, provides machine vision devices. The company’s products cover military, security, medical, scientific and industrial markets.
MultiPix Imaging’s Technical Director, Julie Busby stated that the company is looking forward to distribute and support the FLIR camera series. She added that the FLIR cameras complement the company’s existing vision products distributed in the UK.
MultiPix specializes in providing fixed-mounted thermal imaging cameras and FLIR A-Series cameras. The thermal imaging cameras can be deployed anywhere to survey the production process by visualizing the heat patterns and by measuring and identifying the temperature differences. The FLIR A-Series cameras are plug and play units that work with machine vision imaging software such as MVTec’s HALCON software.
