Tailored Machine Performance For Optimal Efficiency and Cutting Power

Cincinnati Incorporated adds two models to its American-made family of linear-motor-drive laser cutting centers. The CL-840 and CL-825 allow users to tailor machine performance to specific cutting requirements for optimal processing efficiency. Both models feature proven, hard-working Fanuc fast-axial flow resonators - 4000 watt continuous power for the CL-840 and 2500 watts for the CL-825. Each machine is available in 5 x 10 and 6 x 12 ft. (2M x 4M) cutting table sizes and comes standard with full guarding for floor space savings over open lasers with safety zone floor mats. Cree and Nichia Corporation Announced Agreement to Expans Their Cross License Arrangements

Cree, Inc. today announced that Cree and Nichia Corporation have entered into an agreement that expands their cross license arrangements announced in 2002 and 2005 to include additional patents relating to white LED technology and certain Cree patents relating to nitride lasers. The agreement also resolves infringement claims Nichia had asserted against LED products sold by COTCO International Limited, a subsidiary of COTCO Luminant Device Limited, prior to Cree's acquisition of COTCO Luminant Device Limited and its subsidiaries in March 2007.
