Photonics and Nanostructures - Fundamentals and Applications

This journal establishes a dedicated channel for physicists, material scientists, chemists, engineers and computer scientists who are interested in photonic crystals and photonic band gaps. The Journal will help shed light on the latest developments in this growing field of science that will see the emergence of faster telecommunications and ultimately computers that use light instead of electrons to connect components. The Journal features mainly original research work in experiment, theory and applications.

Metamaterials

The Journal aims to cover a wide area of research, connected with artificial electromagnetic materials and surfaces in microwave and optical range, and encompassing general theory, design, applications, fabrication and technology. This involves both theoretical and experimental papers on metamaterials, chiral and bianisotropic media, various periodic structures and frequency selective surfaces, EBG (electromagnetic bandgap) and PBG (Photonic bandgap) structures, high-impedance surfaces, nanostructures, etc., as well as whole range of their applications in antenna and circuit technology and various electromagnetic devices.

Optics Communications

Optics Communications considers only original and timely contributions containing new results in various fields of modern optics. Manuscripts may discuss fundamental or applied issues, and should offer clear evidence of novelty and significance. Papers devoted, for the most part, to mathematical and computational issues, with limited direct connection to current trends of optics research, are generally not suitable for publication in the Journal. Similarly, small technical advances, or papers concerned only with engineering applications or issues of materials science may not be considered favorably.

Optics and Lasers in Engineering

Optics and Lasers in Engineering aims to provide an international forum for the interchange of information on the development and application of optical techniques and laser technology in engineering. Emphasis is placed on contributions dealing with the practical use of methods and devices, the evaluation of results and developments and enhancement of solutions and new theoretical foundations for experimental methods.

Optik

Optik publishes articles on all subjects related to light and electron optics and offers a survey on the state of research and technical development.

Current Applied Physics

Current Applied Physics is an international journal which covers all the fields of applied science investigating the physics of the advanced materials for future applications. Other areas covered: Experimental and theoretical aspects of advanced materials and devices dealing with synthesis or structural chemistry, physical and electronic properties, photonics, engineering application and uniquely pertinent measurement or analytical techniques. Current Applied Physics covers physics, chemistry and materials science, including bio-materials, with their engineering aspects. This journal is a truly interdisciplinary journal opening a forum for the scientists of all related fields, a unique point of the journal discriminating it from other worldwide and/or Pacific Rim applied physics journals.
