NDI announces the addition of a new Optical Tracker and probing options to its Portable CMM line, aimed to address the needs of those seeking a cost-effective alternative to arm-based technologies. The OPTOTRAK solution uses advanced optical techniques to track a light-weight handheld probe that substantially improves overall usability and reliability, by eliminating moving parts and mechanical restrictions. With total measurement freedom and a substantial reduction in operator fatigue, manufacturers can save time and money by dramatically increasing measurement throughput and efficiency.
