Lens Innovation News

Resolve Optics has published the Spring 2016 edition of its biannual newsletter - 'Lens Innovation' which may be downloaded here.

Written for optical designers and engineers utilising precision optics this informative newsletter includes a collection of topical discussion, technological developments, applications advances and breaking news in optical design and manufacture.

In this issue the popular Technology Forum examines the often misunderstood considerations when selecting an optimum lens for a digital camera or sensor and also discusses are off-the-shelf optics always the best solution?

The thought provoking Viewpoint Column discusses the importance of designing optical products with competitive edge and offers, to combat the increasing pace of technological development, ways of maintaining that advantage.

For the many applications that are best served by zoom lenses, the Information
Guidelines feature discusses the benefits of and how to set-up, a tracking zoom lens that, once set-up, will maintain focus throughout the full zoom range of the lens.

Also in the Spring 2016 issue is a case study on head-up display lenses, optics news highlights from around the globe and the latest new product introductions from Resolve Optics Ltd.
