Ophir Photonics, global leader in precision laser measurement equipment and a Newport Corporation brand, today announced the opening of a new office in Darmstadt, Germany. Opening today, Ophir Spiricon Europe is dedicated to sales, service, recalibration, and repair of all Ophir power and energy meters and Spiricon and Photon beam analyzers.

The new office provides customers across Europe with the high quality, expert services they've come to expect from Ophir Spiricon, in a fraction of the time. Christian Dini will serve as General Manager.

Christian Dini has over 25 years experience in the laser industry, including R&D, sales, and executive management. He served as Business Development Director at Synrad Inc., a leading manufacturer of industrial CO2 lasers, where he restructured distribution across Europe. Prior to that, Dini held the positions of VP Sales & Marketing at contract manufacturer Alphaform AG, VP Sales at a new Synrad Europe office, and Product Manager at Optilas GmbH.
