New AQ6370C Optical Spectrum Analyzer from Yokogawa

Developer of portable test equipment and process instruments, Yokogawa Meters & Instruments, has introduced a new AQ6370C optical spectrum analyzer for determining the optical features of optical communication devices. The analyzer features improved signal processing and optical performance capabilities.

The AQ6370C optical spectrum analyzer attains a stray light suppression ratio of 76 dB. The analyzer also obtains a 73-dB dynamic range, which means it has the ability to separate and evaluate the spectrum near the measured wavelength’s peak.

The AQ6370C is available in two versions, high performance and standard models. The device delivers enhanced measurement speed and precision, which will help decrease production expenditures and increase measurement efficiency.

The AQ6370C also features an advanced monochromator, which resolves an optical signal with a dynamic range of 73 dB and a wavelength resolution of 0.02 nm. The analyzer is targeted at optical communication device manufacturers and can be used for optical characteristics testing and for developing optical components such as optical amplifiers, optical transmitters and receivers.
