Teledyne Announces Advanced IsoPlane Imaging Spectrograph with Increased Spectral and Spatial Resolution

Teledyne is pleased to announce its new IsoPlane® 320A (Advanced), a new spectrograph in its award-winning, aberration-corrected IsoPlane series. This latest model significantly advances the performance of this spectrometer class, both in terms of spectral and spatial imaging performance.

Benefits of the IsoPlane aberration-corrected optical systems for researchers include higher sensitivity, improved signal to noise performance, superior spectral resolution and increased multitrack spectroscopic capabilities. The new IsoPlane Advanced optical design from Teledyne Princeton Instruments dramatically improves the spatial resolution across the 27 mm x 22 mm focal plane, allowing over 200 spectral tracks to be acquired simultaneously.

Michael Case, product manager at Teledyne’s scientific imaging group remarked, “The IsoPlane 320A builds on our decades of experience in spectroscopy by incorporating the next generation of advanced imaging optics. This advanced technology will enhance and allow new spectroscopic applications in material science, nanotechnology, biophysics, plasma physics and astronomy.” Case went on to say, "The IsoPlane 320A is particularly well suited for operation with large area CCD and sCMOS detectors, making it ideal for multi-track spectroscopy, Fourier imaging spectroscopy, micro-spectroscopy and hyperspectral imaging.”
