New Range of Expander Lasers Provide a Compact and Cost Effective OEM Solution

DiOptika's new range of Expander Lasers provide a compact, cost effective OEM solution of large diameter collimated laser beams suitable for projecting 1:1 images of objects in its path for measurement purposes over a large depth of field of up to 10m when used with a CCD camera and image analysis software.

The laser and camera can either be located close too or far away from the area of interest to accurately capture dimensions, angles or other measurement data. The laser shown above produces a highly collimated output laser beam of 47mm diameter and measures only 120-140mm in length including the laser. The mounting base allows mounting to a plate or box using either M4 (metric) or 8-32 (Imperial) screws.

DiOptika’s Expander Laser Modules are available in a wide range of wavelengths and powers from visible to infrared. Custom versions can also be produced on request.
