Lumen Dynamics Group has rolled out new LED heads for OmniCure LX400 LED curing system. The OmniCure UV LED MAX heads minimize production costs of UV bonding by maximum control with monitoring features, increased power efficiency, and quick curing times.
OmniCure UV LED MAX heads
The LED heads provide increased irradiance levels at an intensity of 9500 mW/cm2 using a 3 mm lens and a 365 nm UV LED. The heads utilize the Intelli-Lamp LED technology to offer real-time monitoring of operation duration and LED temperature. In addition, the LED heads provide external aluminum fins to maximize air cooling over severe manufacturing conditions, and optimum heat dissipation by utilizing copper metal.
The UV LED MAX heads offer more than 18% power compared to traditional LED heads, and offer increased output. The combination of the OmniCure UV LED curing system with the LED heads minimizes the power consumption by 80% over a UV arc lamp spot curing system. Furthermore, the heads offers more reliability with a long operating life and improved control.
