Sanyo North America announced that it has unveiled two ultra portable 3LCD projector series specifically for the business and educational markets. The company stated that the WK and XK series projectors provide enhancements in filter and lamp life, which reduces the time and the cost required for maintenance.
PLC-WK2500 Projector
The PLC-WK2500, PLC-XK3010, PLC-XK2600, and PLC-XK2200 projectors weigh 6.4 lbs and have a compact size of 13.1" x 4.0" x 9.7". The PLC-XK2200, PLC-XK2600, and PLC-XK3010 projectors have an XGA resolution and a contrast ratio of 2000:1. The PLC-WK2500 has WXGA resolution and a 3000:1 contrast ratio. The PLC-XK2200 and the PLC-XK2600 projectors generate a brightness of 2200 lm and 2600 lm respectively whereas the PLC-XK3010 and the PLC-WK2500 projectors generate a brightness of 3000 lm and 2500 lm.
The projectors’ filter technology decreases the cost and maintenance time by having a long interval between filter replacements and enhancing the efficiency. The projectors are highly economical to operate because of its extended filter and lamp life. The projectors’ automatic iris control enhances the contrast ratio by detecting and monitoring the image needs and altering the amount of light required for the pictures’ brightness or darkness.
Every projector can be monitored and controlled by using a wired LAN connection. By using a RJ-45 connector, operators can obtain error messages, monitor lamp usage, and switch between inputs.
