Ophir-Spiricon Launches StarLab 2.00 Laser Measurement Software

Ophir-Spiricon has introduced the new StarLab 2.00 laser measurement software that converts a computer into a laser power/energy station with multiple channels. The latest version of the laser measurement software features user-friendly configuration panel, multi-channel and user-defined calculations, and display of numerous channels in single window.

StarLab 2.00 Laser Measurement Software

StarLab functions with the PC interfaces and smart displays of Ophir-Spiricon, enabling users to record, analyze, and measure laser power parameters from the power/energy sensors of the company. The StarLab 2.00 software supports the display of many data channels in more than one window. Every channel can be superimposed and color coded to track all sensor trends concurrently. The StarLab 2.00 has the ability to log data for a maximum of eight power/energy sensors.

The software also features new mathematical functions, such as the Scale Factor to be used with beam splitters. The density function of the software shows the energy and/or power density, based on the customized shape and spot size. The multi-channel calculations, offered by the software, include user-defined formulae, difference (A-B), and ratio (A/B). The StarLab 2.00 software accumulates data from the photodiode, thermal, and pyroelectric heads of Ophir-Spiricon, using any or combination of the company’s PC interfaces and laser power/energy meters.
