Brightfield LED for Life Sciences Microscopes – Intense, Constant Light Source

The LDB100/101F Brightfield LED can be directly fitted to lamphouse couplings of most key microscopes, increasing the amount of light transmitted, and making it a contemporary replacement to halogen lamp based light sources.

The intensity can be manually regulated using a ProScanIII controller, and the LED can be switched on and off via software. The LDB100/101F generates an intense, even light illumination with constant color temperature, making it a suitable light source for several life science applications, phase contrast, brightfield, or DIC techniques.

When the LDB100/101F is used in combination with fluorescence applications, the innovative flip in 550 nm filter decreases background fluorescence caused by stray light exciting the LED, and generates limited quantities of vibration and heat. The LDB100/101F reduces disruption to sensitive samples.
