The optical power monitoring devices in the Optical Power Monitor Series consist of separate photodetectors with tap integration.
They offer a straightforward and affordable solution for monitoring optical power in DWDM, optical switch, and amplifier systems, eliminating the need for a separate optical fiber coupler/splitter and a photodetector.

Isolator-Integrated Nano Tap Photo Detector - INTP

The INTP from Santec is an integrated optical isolator and tap photodetector. Santec's newest and smallest optical isolator and unidirectional tap photodetector are combined into one unit. The INTP, the smallest tap photodetector, is the same size as the NTP when two devices are integrated. The customer can increase design capability and decrease module footprint with INTP.
The INTP series will allow for a more flexible design of next-generation high-performance pluggable small form factors, such as QSFP-DD and OSFP, and Santec's tap photodetector series is great for high-density integration in these modules.
