AZEK Building Products has supplemented its AZEK Rail product line with new innovative outdoor lighting options for consistent lighting functions. The new AZEK Rail Lighting products consist of Under Top Rail Lighting and two styles of Lighted Post Caps that can also be used in combination for a spectacular lighting effect.
AZEK Lighted Post Caps encompass the Island Cap offered in White, Brownstone, Black, and Kona colors, and the Villa Cap comes in Black and White options. Both caps have multiple LEDs to generate ambient lighting. Adaptable with AZEK 5X5 Rail Post sleeves, they are also suitable for existing post caps. The frosted lenses included in the Villa Cap promote elegance in its appearance.
AZEK Under Top Rail Lighting, beneath the top rail, has been designed to operate with AZEK Premier and Trademark Railings. The patent pending lighting system is concealed, eliminating the need for extra fasteners. The LED lighting strips, incised according to the length of railing, is fixed into a semi-rigid extrusion and then compressed between the top rail and top rail retainer. The AZEK Under Top Rail Lighting offers consistent down lighting without impacting hot spots and serves to be suitable for 6ft and 8ft rail sections. Following the research to determine the precise amount, hue, and direction of lighting, this innovative design was fabricated to present a relaxed atmosphere after dark on an AZEK Deck.
The AZEK Lighted Post Caps and Under Top Rail Lighting are energized by 12 V DC power. AZEK Power Packs, including a 35 W or 200 W transformer, contain all the components for powering the AZEK Rail Lighting products, and are now available in markets.
