Zemetrics is a manufacturer of high-precision, optical profilometer measurement
systems for surface metrology. The company is based in Tucson, Arizona.
The company was founded by career experts in interferometry and optics.
In April 2009, Zemetrics' experienced metrology engineers and scientists released
the company's maiden product, ZeMapper Optical Profilometer, which characterizes
surface geometry, including step heights, peak to valley, and roughness, in
three dimensions, without contacting the surface of the test material.
Introduced second optical profiler, ZeScope, in July 2009, and demonstrated
it at SPIE's Optics+Photonics '09 in San Diego.
