Specialized Camera Sales division of Ox Creek Energy Assoc Inc. is an importer, distributor, sales and service for specialized cameras including infrared, visible, and ultraviolet for specialized applications.
The CoroCAM family of ultraviolet viewers and daylight corona cameras enable users to locate ultraviolet emissions and image the background in color concurrently in the visible. Solar-blind cameras are typically bi-spectral meaning they have two cameras (one visible and one ultraviolet looking at the same field-of-view). Using a camera that can image the solar-blind wavelengths enables the cameras to see ultraviolet emissions during bright sunlight and overlay them precisely on the visible color background. The CoroCAM 504 is the world's newest bi-spectral camera and the MultiCAM is now being introduced to add long-wave infrared which shows the heated and arcing damaged areas with the corona.
The Sherlock SF6 gas leak detection camera is custom built to identify SF6 gas leaks, other gases can be imaged also please see specifications, for the electrical power and magnesium industries. SF6 gas is used in high voltage breakers as an insulating gas, better then air or oil, but detrimental to the ozone in the atmosphere if leaked. The Sherlock SF6 does not use a laser or other external source to image the gas leak. The Sherlock SF6 is battery-powered and portable.
