Leica Microsystems has introduced a new high-performance stereomicroscope, namely, Leica M60. The new model completes the Leica M family of stereomicroscopes that have been designed as per the modular Common Main Objective (CMO). Other models of the line include M50 and M80.

The stereomicroscope provides 6.3:1 zoom option with the help of its click stop positions that are switchable. This enables to accurately reproduce the inspection conditions.
