Ratio Pyrometer for High-Temperature Measurement of Metals - CTratio 2M

The CTratio 2M ratio pyrometer available from Optris has a short measuring wavelength and is particularly suited to measure very high metal temperatures. Thanks to its very short response time, it can be used to monitor even highly fast processes.

The CTratio 2M ratio pyrometer is highly resistant to steam, dust, and soiled observation windows. This enables precise measurement to be performed even if the window is soiled up to 90%. Furthermore, the pyrometer carries out reliable measurement even if the object being measured covers just 5% of the measuring point or moves very quickly.

As a result of the fiber optic cable and the separate electronics box the ratio pyrometer furthermore allows use in ambient temperatures of 200 °C (392 °F) without additional cooling and without influencing measurement results.

A highlight of the new CTratio is the targeting laser used now, with a wavelength of 520 nm and a optimal visibility even on glowing objects. For temperature analysis, Optris supplies the software Ratio Connect as standard, which can reliably detect and evaluate temperature measurement data.
