Study Shows Cold Laser Increases Tumour Growth in Skin Cancer

High irradiances of low-level laser therapy (LLLT) should not be used over melanomas. Researchers writing in the open access journal BMC Cancer studied the pain relieving, anti-inflammatory ‘cold laser’, finding that it caused increased tumour growth in a mouse model of skin cancer.

Cypress Semiconductor Unveils New Evaluation Kits for LCD Segment Drive Applications

Cypress Semiconductor Corp. Universal Display and Arizona State University Join to Fabricate PHOLEDs for US Army

Universal Display Corporation (NASDAQ:PANL), an innovator behind today’s and tomorrow’s displays and lighting through its UniversalPHOLED™ phosphorescent OLED technology, and the Flexible Display Center (FDC) at Arizona State University, today announced that they have strengthened their collaboration to extend to the joint fabrication of prototype active-matrix PHOLEDs on flexible plastic substrates for the U.S. Department of Army.
