Fiber Optic Center Appoints Kelly Barker as Epoxy Business Development Manager

Fiber Optic Center, Inc., (FOC), an international leader in distributing fiber optic components, equipment and supplies and recognized as one of the most technically savvy fiber optics companies in the world, announces the addition of Kelly Barker to its technical team.

Kelly Barker started her career in customer service.  She has worked in both marketing and sales.  Since then, Kelly had been promoted to management positions in each of these departments as well as project management director and new business development manager with a specialty in product line marketing strategy.

Kelly joins Fiber Optic Center, Inc. from PennWell Corporation where she spent five years in business development within various industries including Fiber Optics, Cabling Installation and Maintenance, Connectors, LEDs, Military and Aerospace.  She has worked extensively with adhesive manufacturers on their product lines and applications within these markets. Kelly has grown to love the adhesive application business in all of these industries, becoming a respected and sought after strategic marketing source for many.

Kelly’s background fits well for FOC’s Technical Support and Consulting team. As a distributor, FOC takes a much more active role in supporting customers with both onsite and phone support as needed.  Kelly’s experience and record of success with strategic business development andadhesive applications in multiple industries will bring new technical support skills tocustomers worldwide.

Kelly graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 1997 with a BA degree in Marketing and Management and a minor in Legal Studies. She resides in Nashua, NH with her husband and two girls, Maizie and Audrey.  Kelly enjoys being involved in community activities, such as park and recreation sports with her girls, and enjoys camping and reading.
