Mitsubishi Laser Releases 4.5 kW Resonator for 2D Lasers

Mitsubishi Laser has rolled out a new, high power 4.5 kW resonator that is specifically designed for 2D lasers. The resonator replaces the typical 4.0 kW resonator.

The increased power upgrade will maximize output, offering increased cost-savings and high productivity for customers.

The cross-flow resonator technology minimizes the fall time/rise time of square wave pulse, which allows consistent delivery of beam power for the cutting process with enhanced edge quality. In addition, the minimal current discharge offers reduced power stability for enhanced etching and micromachining.

The three-axis, cross-flow resonator technology removes the costly turbo blower systems and quartz glass tubes from its simple design. Furthermore, the simplified design maximizes cutting power of the resonator. The resonator needs 2 to 5 times less maintenance when compared to other designs.
