Power LED provider, Philips Lumileds, has enhanced its LUXEON Rebel ES outdoor lighting series that provides higher light output and efficiency. The LUXEON Rebel ES offers over 300 lm and 100 lm/W efficacy, and reduces the TCO (total cost of ownership) and the payback periods.

The LUXEON Rebel ES is suitable for outdoor applications namely low- and high- bay lighting, roadways and streets. The LED systems have CCTs (correlated color temperatures) at 4100K and 5650K and can be optimized to produce the required light output, thus reducing the quantity of emitters needed.
The installation of the LUXEON Rebel ES lighting systems in Europe, North America, and China enables the facility owners and governments to meet their green objectives and cur down their operating expenditures.
LUXEON’s Executive VP of Sales and Marketing, Steve Barlow, stated that the company expanded its LUXEON product line to help customers meet their lighting requirements. He added that the LUXEON Rebel ES addresses the need for cost and system efficiencies, which remain the key factors for adopting LED lighting solutions.
