Ahura Scientific, Inc., the leader in field-deployed analytical instruments for human health and public safety, today announced the availability of TruDefender™ FT version 1.2, which now features more than 7,500 pure substances in the instrument’s onboard library. The TruDefender FT library has more than quadrupled in size in just one year, enabling more pure chemicals and millions of potential mixture combinations to be identified.
TruDefender FT v1.2 includes additions in all chemical categories, most notably chemical intermediates, industrial chemicals, narcotics, laboratory reagents and pharmaceuticals. The TruDefender FT library is specifically developed by Ahura Scientific and optimized for the product’s sophisticated software algorithms. By managing library development internally and adding only the highest-quality spectra with rigorous quality controls, Ahura Scientific can provide its customers with the industry’s most accurate material identification system including completely automatic analysis of mixtures, reducing reliance on spectral subtraction and subjective evaluation.
