Fixed Focus & Zoom UV Lenses

Resolve Optics is a leading OEM supplier of fixed focus and zoom lenses optimised to operate in the ultraviolet (UV) region (200-400 nanometres).

Working with instrument, camera and sensor manufacturers - Resolve Optics has developed high performance custom UV lenses for applications in astronomy, artwork authentication, electronics, fire detection, forensics, law enforcement, medical, non-destructive testing, nuclear inspection and spectrophotometry.

In forensic investigation and fingerprinting - Resolve Optics is recognised as the leading supplier of RUVIS lenses based upon their proprietary Model 228 UV lens. Designed specifically for forensic and fingerprinting applications, the Model 228 is a full-featured high-performance UV lens. The lens has an extended magnification range that uses a telescopic focusing mount. The Model 228 offers the capability to image objects from infinity down to 1:1.25 magnification without using add-on adapters.

Working with specialist UV camera manufacturer - Resolve Optics developed a novel UV zoom lens that enabled remote viewing of a nuclear fuel assembly through 10-metres of water. To meet the challenges of this difficult application, the UV zoom lens was designed to optimally operate from 10°C to 55°C (50°F to 131°F). Miniature motors were incorporated in the design to enable accurate remote setting of both the zoom and focus functions.
