Sirio Panel to Supply LED Panels and LED Lights for the Aisle Jetliner Family

Sirio Panel, a Selex ES company (Finmeccanica group), has been awarded a contract by Airbus to develop, supply and support a set of LED panels, LED lights and associated power supplies for the cockpit integral lighting and general illumination systems of A320 single-aisle jetliner Family.

The contract, which is part of a modernization program currently involving the aircraft, reinforces the commitment of Sirio Panel to support the European manufacturer with competitive products, based on the latest technologies and developed to enhance performance, reliability and minimise weight and power consumption.

This new order follows the contracts signed with Airbus in 2004 for the A400M Integrated Control Panels (ICP) system and in 2008 for the cockpit general illumination of the A350 XWB aircraft.

The Selex ES company is involved in many international programs such as Airbus A320 Family, A400M, A380 and A350 XWB, C-27J, F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF), Eurofighter Typhoon, NH-90 and several AgustaWestland helicopters including AW169, AW139, AW189 and AW101.
