Laser 1 Technology, a premier laser cutting and machine shop, announced that it now has 5 axis laser cutting capability. The 5 axis process works with a laser head that can move around a work piece in combination with the work piece it self being rotated as needed. The laser nozzle tilt allows access to a variety of surfaces. This process is very cost effective for 3 dimensional cutting shapes and sizes where tooling costs would make manufacturing prohibitive.
